She Leads has partnered with LifeWay for a pre-conference to Priscilla Shirer Live. SHE Leads is a training event to help women understand and implement their passions into ministry, exemplifying a servant leader’s attitude with those they equip to carry out a shared vision. Through sessions led by a panel of seasoned women leaders, you will explore techniques of leadership to better equip you for serving Christ in your church, community, ministry, and marketplace. In addition, they will encourage, inspire and help you move out with confidence.

Jessie Seneca is the founder of More of Him Ministries and SHE Leads Conference. She has been leading women in the local community and churches for over twenty years. She also works with LifeWay as the Priscilla Shirer Live City Coordinator, Northeast Simulcast Specialist and YOU Lead presenter. She enjoys seeing women get into the Word of God and the transformation it brings into their lives. Jessie has also shared her ministry with women throughout the east coast of the US and Canada. Through God’s Word, Jessie shares what true leadership looks like along with practical teachings from her personal experiences.
Her message inspires women to move into a whole-hearted lifestyle, one devoted fully to God. Jessie’s passion and wisdom is to use the gifts God has given her to speak into the lives of her listeners and readers through her Bible studies, The Secret is Out, Joseph, A Life Of Rejection, Resilience and Respect and her book, Road Trip. She is a wife and mother of two adult daughters.
Dr. Veirdre Ridgley-Jackson is a woman pursuing God’s priorities, purpose, and passion for her life, Dr. Veirdre Ridgley-Jackson has had the privilege to become an award-winning educator, entrepreneur, and advocate. She has been recognized with the Philadelphia Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 Award and has been honored by the Pennsylvania Southeast Regional Key as a Professional Development Champion. Professionally, Dr. Jackson has served as an AmeriCorps worker in the Philadelphia School District; an elementary school educator in the Norristown Area School District; founder and director of New Life Child and Family Development Center; Graduate school professor; and currently the Director for MELC- Professional Development Dimensions. Through her work in the areas of education, family development programming, community collaboration, and organizational leadership, her expertise includes cultivating leaders, developing community partnerships, and implementing relationship based programs that deeply impact people, families, and children from the inside out. Her commitment as a ministry leader has allowed her to previously serve as Superintendent of Christian Education for Macedonia Baptist Church. And her passion to support women in pursuing the promises that God has for their lives has led her to her current mission as Co-founder of Fresh Fountain of Life: Counseling & Wellness Ministry which has the vision to see the power of God’s transformative love, mercy, grace and forgiveness heal women impacted by trauma worldwide. Dr. Jackson holds a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Temple University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation from Wilmington University. She is married and the mother of two daughters.

Verna Bowman has had the privilege of serving in women’s ministry for over twenty-fiveyears. Her various roles include leading Bible studies, teaching and mentoring women of all ages, developing ministries and coordinating events. She is an inspirational speaker and the author of Crumbs Along the Broken Path. Her stories and articles have been featured in various devotionals and Christian magazines. She shares her reflections on her blog, Encouraging Women One Story at a Time. Verna’s heart is to encourage women to seek a more intimate relationship with Jesus through the truth of His Word. She is a wife, mother of four and a grandmother to five, and works as a medical secretary and patient advocate. www.vernabowman.com
Heather Evans is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a private counseling practice in Coopersburg, Pennsylvania. She has over 14 years experience providing individual, marriage, and family therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in inpatient, outpatient, nonprofit and residential settings. She has extensive training and experience with women’s issues, particularly sexual trauma. Her training includes sex trafficking and aftercare of its victims. Heather is Co-founder and Chair of Aftercare Team of VAST (Valley Against Sex Trafficking) Coalition in the Lehigh Valley, PA. Heather also serves as Clinical Advisor to the Truth Home, a therapeutic home for women with a history of sexual exploitation. In 2013, Heather received the Allied Professional Award from Crime Victims Council of the Lehigh Valley for outstanding commitment to victims’ services. Michele Giletto has over 25 years of leadership experience encouraging and leading others through music, speaking and prayer ministry. After a series of life events and hardships, Michele was counseled to “get into and stay in the Word of God.” When she did, her eyes were opened and she received a hunger and thirst for God’s Word that she had never experienced before. She leads bi-weekly Gathered in Grace Prayer Groups and Bible studies. Michele is the Network Director of Women’s Imaging for St. Luke’s University Health Network. Lori Hynson is a speaker, singer, blogger, playwright and the award-winning author of “SuperGal vs. GOD.” She is the owner of independent publishing company, Broken Shoe Press, and a member of the Christian Small Publishers’ Association. As a busy SuperGal, Lori recently retired as the owner of a successful account rep marketing company servicing the legal industry. Heavily involved in her community, as well as the performing arts, she is a vocalist at her home church, Second Baptist Church of Doylestown, Pa. Lori shares her Secrets of a Recovering SuperGal through the Word of God. With joy, humor, and song, she reaches out to hurting women to encourage them to surrender their heavy shackles to Jesus. Sue Landis has over thirty years of leadership experience serving Christian Education Director, Sunday School teacher, Bible Study and Women’s Ministry leader. Her professional career has been diverse. Sue was happy to be a stay-at-home mom filling her years with various volunteer roles at school and church. After returning to the workforce, she met a new challenge to join her husband full-time in the family business. Presently, she serves the company as Human Resources Manager and the Sales and Marketing Coordinator. In 2004, she became the founder and CEO of Victory Consulting. After years of Life Coaching courses, she received her Personal & Executive Coach Certification in February 2015. Her passion is to encourage women to navigate life’s transitions with intention and grace to fulfill their life purpose. Sue has been married to her high school sweetheart, Steve, for forty-three years. They have two grown children and four grandchildren and reside in Souderton, Pennsylvania.
After Lisa Melillo gave her life to Christ as a sophomore in college in 1977, Lisa Melillo has been seeking, serving and growing in her walk with the Lord ever since. Lisa is a passionate intercessor who sows into the Kingdom as a marketplace minister and a faithful leader at King of Kings Worship Center in Basking Ridge, NJ. With over 30 years of business experience in People/Organization Development, Executive Coaching and Human Resource Management, Lisa is driven to help individuals and businesses reach their God-given purpose and potential. She has worked with a variety of Fortune 500 companies throughout her career, providing leadership effectiveness solutions to C-suite executives, high-potential talent and high performing teams. Formerly Vice-President of Global People Development for Colgate-Palmolive, Lisa now owns and operates an Executive Coaching and Consulting Practice for a little over a decade. She has an undergraduate degree in Social Psychology and Management from Lehigh University, and two Masters degrees in Organization Psychology and Counseling Psychology. Having recently registered a new venture, Marketplace Discipleshift LLC, Lisa’s heart desire is to ignite the body of Christ to change the world at work.
Bertina Pelter is a Washington, DC native, and Pastor’s wife. Together with her husband, Keith they lead the Southern Baptist Church located in Philadelphia, PA. As a lifelong careered stylist, “Tina” is a co-owner of Bold and Beautiful Salon in Downingtown, PA. She is the CEO of the non-profit organization FAVOR (Faces And Voices Of Reason) a youth etiquette, self-esteem building and goal setting program implemented in schools and churches. She is the women’s ministry leader at her church and active in the community and abroad. As a volunteer coordinator/manager for the Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation for the last 10 years, she recruits trains and manages volunteers with the hope of adding value to their lives. Coming from a very untraditional upbringing she was determined not to become a product of her circumstances. Throughout her journey, she has overcome several obstacles and helped many along the way. She is always on a mission to help one live their lives according to Gods word through love. Lauren Seneca is a young professional working for her alma mater, Messiah College, as Assistant Director of Annual Giving in Harrisburg, Pa. While pursuing her career in development and graduate degree in Organizational Leadership, she continues her enthusiasm for softball by assisting at Dickinson College. Through her post-college transition, Lauren found herself passionate about young adults discovering authentic community within the local church and greater Harrisburg area. As a result, she is actively involved in her church and leads within their twenty-somethings, young adult ministry consisting of Bible study, group events, service projects and monthly worship nights.
Laura Sommons is currently the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church. Along with serving as women’s coordinator, she leads bible studies, and enjoys speaking as the opportunity arises. Because of the lavish love God has poured out on her life, she cannot help but pour out that same love onto the lives of women. She and her husband Shawn have been married 22 years, have 3 beautiful daughters and live in Bethlehem, Pa. Linda Williams passions in life are her love for Jesus, the Word of God, her family and women! After a career with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the American Red Cross, she began her ministry “to and with” women. Through life experience, God gave Linda a real love and deep compassion for women. She was on the staff of Millington Baptist Church as Coordinator of Women’s Ministry before moving to the Lehigh Valley in 2001 where she again developed women’s ministry at Hope Wesleyan Church. Along with the local church, she has brought her leadership skills to Women of Faith in developing that ministry in the Northeast. For over 25 years, Linda’s unique and personal approach to scripture touches lives and invites women to an alive and rich relationship with the Lord. Linda is a storyteller, a Bible study leader, a speaker and a mentor to young women.
