The Real Mom Conference is designed for moms of all ages, throughout all seasons of life—a mother’s work is never done! Once a mom, always a mom. Our desire is to encourage moms in their pursuit of Biblical motherhood.

But you can’t do it alone. And we don’t want you to. You need the help of others. Come learn from experienced moms and find a safe place to discuss your struggles and victories with other moms.

Founder and Keynote Speaker

Jessie Seneca is the founder of More of Him Ministries and The Real Mom Conference. Jessie lives in Bethlehem, PA with her husband, John of 40 years. They have two daughters, Lauren and Sarah and two wonderful sons-in-law. And now add on seven grands (life is full!). Her message inspires women to move into a whole-hearted lifestyle, one devoted fully to God. Jessie’s passion and wisdom is to use the gifts God has given her to speak into the lives of her listeners and readers through her Bible studies and books. While writing her books, Raising Girls, Diaper to Diamond and Mama, You eb the Difference, she had one question at the forefront of her mind, “What do I wish I could tell the younger me?” She doesn’t claim to have all the answers and like most of us, has made mistakes along the way, but her continued desire has been to develop girls into responsible young adults while nurturing a deep friendship with her own daughters. Lauren Gaines is a published author, Christian speaker, and creator of Inspired Motherhood, a thriving online community empowering parents to raise spiritually strong and emotionally healthy kids. With a Master’s Degree in School Psychology and experience as an educator, Lauren’s latest book, Unshakable Kids: Three Keys to Raising Spiritually Strong and Emotionally Healthy Children, helps parents equip their children to thrive in today’s world. Her work has been featured on American Family Radio, Christian Parenting, and Moms in Prayer. Lauren lives in Pennsylvania with her husband, Darryl, and their three children. Verna Bowman is an author, conference speaker, Bible teacher and content creator at Encouraging Women One Story at a Time. Serving for over thirty-five years in various roles of ministry leadership has provided her insight and understanding to the needs of women across all life stages. Her mission is to offer inspiration through God’s Word and personal stories of His faithfulness. Her story has been featured on The 700 Club and through countless articles published in Guideposts, Women’s Day, Power for Living, Cup of Comfort Devotional series, Chicken Soup for the Soul, CBN and INSP. She is the author of Even Now, Clinging to Wild Faith in the Middle of Your Story, Crumbs Along the Broken Path, and Gathering Seeds of Encouragement. Tabitha Deller is a wife, mom, teacher, and author. She resides in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania with her husband, Steve. They have four adult sons, one daughter-in-law, and a sweet pup, Rey. Tabitha loves words — written or spoken and is passionate about God’s Word and the life changing truths found in it. She loves reading it, writing about it, and challenging others to do the same. She has authored and taught Bible studies and devotionals for large groups, small groups, and online groups. She also loves encouraging ladies of all ages and life stages through speaking at conferences, events, and retreats. Carolyn Ruch is an author, speaker, and steward of the Rise and Shine Movement: Equipping Adults to Protect Children from Childhood Sexual Abuse. Her published works include two children’s books and numerous inspirational stories and devotionals for moms, plus a soon to be released memoir, The Velveteen Mother. However, her role as mother to seven (three biological, one adopted, and three foster) is where she learned more about herself than she ever wanted to know and more about God’s love than she could ever imagine. Deanna Slamans is a conference speaker, author, and educator with more than 25 years of ministry experience. Her memoir, Faith’s Pursuit: Understanding God’s Faithfulness in Suffering, shares her journey of growing up with mentally ill parents and later attending the Milton Hershey School, a residential program for at-risk youth. In 2015, her full testimony aired nationwide on the Harvest Television Show, where her transparency, biblical insight, and practical encouragement continue to inspire audiences. Deanna has recorded DVD Bible studies. She speaks at corporate conferences for The Hershey Company and Milton Hershey School, and was a featured speaker at The Becoming Conference for Women in 2022 and 2023 .
