Hettie Brittz and her husband of 26 years, Louis, have 3 children. They lived and worked in South Africa until relocating to Eastern Tennessee in 2017. She started her career as a speech, language and hearing therapist for kids with learning and behavioral difficulties but changed career paths when God’s relentless desire to restore broken families touched her heart. In 2008, she founded Evergreen Parenting – a family ministry that helped parents embrace their children’s unique design. Her “Tree Type Temperament” model became well-known through her flagship book, Growing Kids with Character, and lead to the development of a leadership training company called Tall Trees Profiles. More than 260 facilitators trained in her curriculums for families, churches, schools, and companies, now help restore relationships in several countries. Hettie’s motto is, “Understand your design; live your purpose!” She passionately believes that everything worthwhile hinges on relationships with each other and with God. Sally Hall has a proven track record of results-oriented leadership. She founded a ministry which networked with 100s of churches, promoted and hosted weekly Bible studies and annual events where thousands would discover truths from God’s Word. With another ministry, Sally coached, trained and mobilized hundreds of leaders in how to influence and impact communities using God’s Word. Even with such fulfilling opportunities, Sally has experienced deep times of rejection and the words, “I don’t measure up,” have often been her unsolicited companions. Sally has learned that self-talk plays an important role in one’s professional and personal success. The words we believe indelibly impact our minds and hearts, thus influencing how effectual we are in all areas of our lives. Her driving goal is to help women find the tools and develop the life skills needed to empower them with truth, rather than giving heed to emotions and lies.
