Welcome to the Bible study, Joseph: A Life of Rejection, Resilience, and Respect. I am so excited that you are considering joining us for an in-depth look at the amazing life of Joseph. As we journey together through the last chapters of Genesis to seek out what is behind this man so many love, you will get the opportunity to apply these life lessons that motivate you to live more like Jesus.

I have a confession to make. When others found out that the Bible study I was writing is about Joseph, they told me, “Joseph’s story is my favorite one in the Bible!” After hearing that comment many times, fear gripped me. Maybe, just maybe, there wasn’t much more to learn. Oh my, was I wrong! Soon after researching and writing, I discovered that there was so much more behind the multi-colored coat, the brothers, and the temptations. My prayer became this: that those engaged in this study would not just know the story but also be able to really apply the lessons lived out by Joseph.

The research rocked my world and cut deeper than I expected. I am different because of my study of the life of Joseph. I am forever changed. I hope you will be also.
