SHE Leads Conference Description
She Leads has partnered with LifeWay for a pre-conference to The Word Alive with Lysa Terkeurst. SHE Leads is a training event to help women understand and implement their passions into ministry, exemplifying a servant leader’s attitude with those they equip to carry out a shared vision. Through sessions led by a panel of seasoned women leaders, you will explore techniques of leadership to better equip you for serving Christ in your home, church, community, ministry, and marketplace. In addition, they will encourage, inspire and help you move out with confidence.

SHE Leads Keynote Speaker

Jessie Seneca is the founder of More of Him Ministries and SHE Leads Conference. She has been leading women in the local community and church for over 25 years. She also works with LifeWay as The Word Alive City Coordinator, Northeast Simulcast Specialist and YOU Lead presenter. She enjoys seeing women get into the Word of God and the transformation it brings into their lives. Jessie has also shared her ministry with women throughout the US and Canada. Through God’s Word, Jessie shares what true leadership looks like along with practical teachings from her personal experiences. Her message inspires women to move into a whole-hearted lifestyle, one devoted fully to God. Jessie’s passion and wisdom is to use the gifts God has given her to speak into the lives of her listeners and readers. She is the author of two Bible studies and five books with her most recent leadership book, Abound, A Call to Purposeful Servant Leadership. She is a wife and mother of two adult daughters, two wonderful son’s-in-law and enjoys her new role as Mimi.

Anne Baum is the Lehigh Valley executive and vice president, distribution channels and labor relations for Capital BlueCross. In this capacity, she is the senior leader in the Capital BlueCross Lehigh Valley office. She also leads the network of over 5500 producers and is responsible for the plan’s organized labor customers. Since joining the company in January 2010, sh has been involved with strategic planning, operations, partnership development, community relations, corporate giving, sales, and account management. Anne earned her BS in Biology from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, IL and her MS in Health Systems Management from Rush University, Chicago, IL. She is certified by the Protocol School of Washington as a protocol and etiquette consultant.
Verna Bowman has had the privilege of serving in women’s ministry for over 25 years. Her various roles include leading Bible studies, teaching and mentoring women of all ages, developing ministries and coordinating events. She is an inspirational speaker and the author of Crumbs Along the Broken Path. Her stories and articles have been featured in various devotionals and Christian magazines. She shares her reflections on her blog, Encouraging Women One Story at a Time. Verna’s heart is to encourage women to seek a more intimate relationship with Jesus through the truth of His Word. Pam Cappbianca is a Professional Christian Coach, Speaker, and Women’s Ministry coordinator. She is dedicated to empowering women with the courage, confidence and clarity to step into their purpose and live free in who God created them to be. She is passionate about helping broken women re-write the story of their lives, by equipping them with tools for strong leadership and a confident Christ centered identity. With a deeply centering message, Pam brings her audience to clarity in their identity and purpose. She is gifted in empowering women to have a clear vision in order to reach their goals and dreams. Jessica Cole served as the Director of Women’s Ministries at West Shore Free Church in Mechanicsburg, PA for three years. Prior to serving at West Shore, Jessica, a music evangelist, proclaimed the gospel through music internationally and in almost every state in the U.S. She served on staff as the Director of Worship Arts for 13 years at Salem Church in Staten Island, NY. Serving alongside her husband as a senior pastor’s wife she had the opportunity to serve women in various capacities, including teaching Bible Studies, mentoring younger women, counseling, and ministering to seniors and widows. She is a graduate of the Gateway Theological Institute and is continuing her theological education online through Liberty University. She and her husband Eddie have been married for 23 years and serve together. Eddie is currently serving the Evangelical Free Church of America as he transitions from being the District Superintendent in the Eastern District of the EFCA into the Executive Vice President of National Ministries. Jessica travels with him and also travels as a retreat speaker and worship leader. They have a daughter Madison and son-in-law Doug.
Author, Speaker, Singer – Michele Giletto has over 25 years of leadership experience encouraging and leading others through music, speaking, and prayer ministry. Everything she does is focused on moving women from routine religion to finding life-giving faith. Founder of Gathered in Grace Prayer Ministries, Michele leads an online ministry taking women of all faiths through the Bible. She has written several Bible studies including, Discover Yourself in the Women of the Bible and has co-authored the “Go Deeper” online Bible study with Christian author and speaker, Deborah Lovett. Michele balances her writing and speaking ministry while working as the Network Director of Women’s Imaging for St. Luke’s University Health Network. Dr. Veirdre Ridgley-Jackson is a woman pursuing God’s priorities, purpose, and passion. She is an award-winning educator, entrepreneur, and advocate.Her passion for supporting women in pursuing the promises that God has for their lives has led her as a co-founder of Fresh Fountain of Life: Counseling & Wellness Ministry which casts the vision to see the power of God’s transformative love, mercy, grace and forgiveness heal women impacted by adversity worldwide. Her other areas of expertise include cultivating leaders, developing community partnerships, and implementing relationship-based programs that deeply impact people, families, and children from the inside out. As the CEO of Living Strong Consulting, Dr. Jackson provides leadership and team development to nonprofits with the desire to make their vision come to life and sustain their mission for community impact. Donna Jacobini joins the SHE leads team with 25 years of ministry experience. She serves as the Director of Women’s Ministries and catalyst in mobilizing hundreds of volunteers throughout the year at Calvary church in Souderton, PA. Donna also enjoys leading the Frontline Ministries, a ministry dedicated to providing a friendly welcome and helpful assistance to all who come through their church doors. Through her many roles, she oversees: women’s Bible study with over 400 women, Just Among Moms. Donna brings a deep commitment of love for the Lord and people! She is energized by helping connect people to one another and to the Lord, plus supporting others in developing their God-given potential. She and her husband, Nick, have been married for 41 years and enjoy time with their grown children’s families and grandchildren.

Anita Keagy founded JoyShop Ministries in 2006 with one simple mission: To inspire people to prioritize spending time with God every day through Bible reading and prayer. She is an international speaker sharing her message of seeking God first each day as the key to abundant life and joy. She has authored multiple books with DVD’s to accompany them which will encourage and challenge those who long for a deeper relationship with God. Her DVD, “Letters from an Unknown Daughter” is her personal testimony of motherhood, hope, and healing. Anita Keagy lives in Washington Boro, Pennsylvania, with her husband Paul. Karen Miller Has a passion to reach other women with the depth of God’s Word, and to encourage men and women alike to trust God, walking in the plans and purposes He has for their lives. For nearly 30 years she has served in many capacities: as a teacher and retreat planner/speaker; leading a thriving women’s ministry, offering bible studies and special events; in media and creative arts, designing promotional materials for print, video and web; writing and directing drama presentations. On staff at her home church, Grace Church in Reading (Shillington) PA, Karen is currently Director of Grace Groups. The spiritual growth of children is also near and dear to her heart as Karen serves as VBS Director, leading a team of more than 75 volunteers. Bertina Pelter is a Washington, DC native, and Pastor’s wife. Together with her husband, Keith they lead the Southern Baptist Church located in Philadelphia, PA. She is the CEO of the non-profit organization FAVOR (Faces And Voices Of Reason) a youth etiquette, self-esteem building and goal setting program implemented in schools and churches. She is the women’s ministry leader at her church and active in the community and abroad. As a volunteer coordinator/manager for the Annual Legislative Conference (ALC) hosted by the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation for the last 10 years, she recruits trains and manages volunteers with the hope of adding value to their lives. Laura Sommons is currently the Women’s Ministry Coordinator at Ebenezer Bible Fellowship Church. Along with serving as women’s coordinator, she leads bible studies, and enjoys speaking as the opportunity arises. Jewell Utt is a freelance writer, vocalist and conference speaker. Her passion is to encourage women through the Word of God and music. Understanding the demands of life, she presents retreats that promote comfort, change, and renewal. She recognizes women are on the front lines today, battling attacks on their family, career, and relationships. Seeing them revived for the journey is a tremendous reward of her ministry. For over 25 years, Jewell has served in church leadership with a focus on teaching and community outreach. Her goal is to support an atmosphere where broken lives find warmth, healing and a family to embrace. Jewell and her husband live in a serene mountainous area. Linda Williams passions in life are her love for Jesus, the Word of God, her family and women! After a career with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the American Red Cross, she began her ministry “to and with” women. Through life experience, God gave Linda a real love and deep compassion for women. She was on the staff of Millington Baptist Church as Coordinator of Women’s Ministry before moving to the Lehigh Valley in 2001 where she again developed women’s ministry at Hope Wesleyan Church. Along with the local church, she has brought her leadership skills to Women of Faith in developing that ministry in the Northeast. For over 25 years, Linda’s unique and personal approach to scripture touches lives and invites women to an alive and rich relationship with the Lord. Linda is a storyteller, a Bible study leader, a speaker and a mentor to young women.
