As we come upon the Christmas Season and relive the Christmas story, we can’t help but see the touch of the Master. When God sent His only Son to earth, an indelible touch of heaven marked our lives forever.
Mary, the favored one, was touched by Gabriel, the angel, with the news of the coming Messiah. Elizabeth was touched and filled with the Holy Spirit at just the greeting of Mary’s voice. Joseph was touched at the intimate delivery of the babe in the stable. The shepherds were touched by the multitude of heavenly hosts announcing the birth of Emanuel, God with us. And so the story began…..But it doesn’t stop there……My prayer this Christmas is that you will see the handwriting of God and the touch of the Master on your own life. That you will allow Him to touch you in areas you never knew you could be touched in. It only takes one touch to begin a fresh and new walk with our God.
Through all the hustle and bustle of our days, may it be said that we would be a glimpse of hope, peace and joy to the people we pass and meet. May you enjoy the Mater’s Touch this Christmas season and through the New Year.
For God wanted them to know that the riches and glory of Christ are for you Gentiles, too. And this is the secret: Christ lives in you. This gives you assurance of sharing his glory. Colossians 1:27
