Do you ever feel that God is more focused on you, than you are on Him? Do you ever get distracted during your quiet time? Thinking of all the things you need to accomplish in a twenty-four hour period? Join the crowd!
Just the other day, while reading my devotions and studying His word, my mind was somewhere beside the reading and I thought, “what have I read?”
It happens to all of us at one time or another. It is what we do with it in that moment of realization that counts. He is a God of grace and mercy and the moment your mind returns to Him, His Spirit automatically connects with your spirit and your fellowship continues, Unbroken. His thoughts of you outnumber the sand of the seashore (Psalm 139:18). He is there all along , waiting for your thoughts to return to Him! He is never disconnected from you. Not for a second. He is on a holy search. The eyes of the Lord search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to Him. (2 Chronicles 16:9). Desire to have a devoted heart and He will release abundant portions of mercy, faith, grace, compassion, revelation, wisdom, might to those whose hearts are loyal to Him. (Bob Sorge)
